Daniel Jones Took Less Guaranteed Money To Sign With Colts Instead Of Vikings

The Colts signed QB Daniel Jones in free agency to compete with QB Anthony Richardson for the starting position. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero noted that the Vikings expected Jones to return but he chose to accept less guaranteed money from the Colts instead. Jones, under a one-year, $14 million contract, will share first-team reps during OTAs with Richardson, who remains the favorite for the long-term role.
