According to Adam Schefter, the Raiders are hosting free agent linebacker Jaylon Smith for a tryout during their rookie minicamp this week. Smith, a 29-year-old former second-round pick by the Cowboys in the 2016 NFL Draft, has had a tumultuous career, including a five-year, $64 million extension in 2019 before being released during the 2021 season. Over his seven-year career, he has played in 88 games, started 69, and accumulated 626 tackles, 11 sacks, and various other defensive stats.
