The Atlanta Falcons announced the signing of first-round outside linebacker Jalon Walker to a rookie contract on Friday. Walker, selected with the No. 15 overall pick, is projected to receive a four-year contract worth $20,532,790, including an $11,572,936 signing bonus and a fifth-year option for 2028. The 21-year-old was recognized as an AP Third-team All-American and the Butkus Award winner in 2024, having recorded 89 tackles and 12.5 sacks during his three seasons at Georgia.
