Dyson Daniels Wins NBA Most Improved Player
Atlanta Hawks guard Dyson Daniels was awarded the 2025 NBA Most Improved Player, surpassing Cade Cunningham and Ivica Zubac. After joining the Hawks from the New Orleans Pelicans, Daniels achieved career-best averages of 14.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and a league-leading 3.0 steals per game, while improving his shooting percentage to 49.3%. The Hawks finished the regular season with a 40-42 record, earning the ninth seed but losing both play-in games to Orlando and Miami.
