Kansas City Royals ace Cole Ragans is undergoing tests after leaving Thursday’s game against the Colorado Rockies due to groin tightness. Manager Matt Quatraro noted Ragans appeared uncomfortable, as he allowed four earned runs on three hits and struck out four batters over 62 pitches before being replaced by Angel Zerpa. This season, the 27-year-old Ragans has a 4.40 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP, and leads the American League with 46 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings across six starts.
