The Philadelphia Flyers have announced the dismissal of assistant coaches Rocky Thompson and Darryl Williams, as well as skills coach Angelo Ricci, following a disappointing 2024-25 season. Williams, the most experienced of the trio, previously worked as a video coach for the Vancouver Canucks and an assistant for the New York Rangers before joining the Flyers in the 2021-22 season. Thompson, who had a longer tenure with Philadelphia, also served as an assistant coach for the Oilers and Sharks, while Ricci has a background primarily in youth hockey before his role with the Flyers.
