The Braves have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Nathan Wiles from Triple-A Gwinnett, creating a 40-man roster spot by releasing Amos Willingham. Wiles, acquired from the Rays, will provide bullpen depth after Spencer Strider was placed on the injured list, and he could make his MLB debut in tonight’s game. Wiles has excelled in Triple-A with a 0.64 ERA over 14 innings, while Willingham, who never pitched for the Braves, was released after struggling in the majors with a 7.11 ERA.
