The SSG Landers of the Korea Baseball Organization have signed former MLB outfielder Ryan McBroom as an injury replacement for Guillermo Heredia, who is sidelined for at least six weeks due to an infection. McBroom, who previously played for the Royals and had a successful stint in independent ball with the Long Island Ducks, will earn $75K during this period. If he performs well, he may remain in the KBO after Heredia’s return, either with the Landers or another team willing to adjust their foreign player roster.
