Adolis Garcia’s two-run home run led the Texas Rangers to a walk-off 4-3 victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers, snapping the Dodgers’ four-game winning streak and hindering their chance to tie for first in the NL West. Garcia’s homer came after a leadoff double by Josh Smith, while the Rangers initially took a 2-0 lead before the Dodgers rallied to lead 3-2, thanks to Freddie Freeman’s two-run homer. Nathan Eovaldi pitched well for Texas, but Jacob Webb earned the win, while Kirby Yates took the loss for the Dodgers, raising his ERA to 3.48.
