Mark Vientos of the Mets has struggled at the start of the 2025 season, but teammates and manager Carlos Mendoza believe it’s just a matter of time before he returns to form. After ending a 77 at-bat home run drought with a homer in a win against the Cardinals, Vientos expressed relief and optimism, noting his consistent hard contact and good at-bats. Teammate Francisco Lindor is confident that Vientos, who had a strong previous season, will achieve his goals and possibly hit 30 to 40 home runs by the end of the year.
