The Raiders will release QB Gardner Minshew at the start of the new league year, as reported by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Minshew had a disappointing season with the Raiders, starting nine games and throwing 9 TDs vs. 10 INTs. Despite having guaranteed money left on his contract, the Raiders are moving in a different direction at QB, leaving Aidan O’Connell as the top incumbent while considering options in the upcoming draft and potentially signing a veteran bridge QB.
