James, who signed a two-year, $104 million deal in July, has expressed his desire to stay in LA and play alongside Dončić as an All-Star duo. The 40-year-old forward, who will be playing in his record 21st All-Star game on Feb. 16, has a full no-trade clause and has previously stated his intention to retire as a Laker.
