Cam Akers: In line for another start

Despite Mixon and Pierce’s continued absence, Akers is expected to lead the Houston backfield again, supported by Ogunbowale and Taylor for backup duties. In their recent victory over the Jaguars, Akers rushed 13 times for 53 yards, while Taylor had six carries for 18 yards and Ogunbowale rushed twice for seven yards and caught passes. Akers did not receive any targets in the passing game during the game.
