James Harden’s misdemeanor gun charge has been dismissed after he completed an alternative resolution program, as requested by the Harris County district attorney’s office. The charge stemmed from an incident on June 13 when police discovered a gun in his car’s cupholder during a traffic stop. Harden, an 11-time All-Star, is currently a free agent but is expected to re-sign with the Cavaliers for around $30 million per season. He averaged 23.6 points and 8 assists per game last season between the Clippers and Cavaliers.
