Playa Vista, Calif. — On Tuesday, 25 NBA players gathered for an offseason workout at the newly opened PLYRS UNTD performance center in Los Angeles, a facility created by the NBPA to meet players’ training needs. With a focus on player input, the center offers comprehensive amenities like regulation courts, a weight room, and recovery services, aiming to be a one-stop training shop. Led by new executive director David Kelly, the NBPA is also preparing for the upcoming Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations, particularly addressing concerns over the second tax apron. Players are enthusiastic about the facility’s potential to enhance their training and foster competition.
