DeAndre Hopkins, the legendary NFL wide receiver, is set to join the Georgia Tech coaching staff as an assistant wide receivers coach, reconnecting with former Texans offensive coordinator George Godsey. Although he explored coaching with the Patriots during training camp, the permanence of his coaching role is uncertain as he still believes he can contribute as a player. Last season with the Ravens, he recorded a career-low 22 catches for 330 yards. If this coaching role concludes his playing career, he will retire with 1,006 receptions for 13,295 yards and 85 touchdowns.
