The Baltimore Orioles face a challenge with third baseman Blaze Alexander on the IL with a broken hand, as he had significantly improved their lineup with a .310 batting average and impressive stats since May 25. With Jordan Westburg also sidelined, Coby Mayo and Jeremiah Jackson are likely to share responsibilities at third base, although both have limitations against right-handed pitchers. The Orioles will need to explore trade options, as the deadline approaches, to strengthen their infield for a playoff push. Potential targets include players like Luis Arraez, Gleyber Torres, and Brett Baty, contingent on availability and cost.
