Tyler Fay Drafted by Pittsburgh Pirates
Alabama pitcher Tyler Fay was selected in the 6th round (169th overall) by the Pittsburgh Pirates after a standout season, finishing with an 11-5 record and a no-hitter against Florida. His teammate, Zane Adams, was drafted by the Orioles two spots later, while catcher/outfielder Brady Neal was taken by the Reds.
