Charlotte Hornets President Confirms Extension Talks with Brandon Miller
Charlotte Hornets president Jeff Peterson announced that the team is in discussions to extend Brandon Miller’s contract, emphasizing the organization’s desire to keep him long-term. Despite undergoing shoulder surgery in May and being out indefinitely, Miller is reportedly committed to his rehabilitation. The Hornets aim to build their roster around Miller and Kon Knueppel following the trade of LaMelo Ball to Minnesota. Additionally, Victor Wembanyama is the only member of the 2025 draft class to sign a rookie scale extension this offseason.
