The Boston Celtics have signed center Mitchell Robinson to a three-year, $47.4 million contract, enhancing their frontcourt ahead of the new NBA season. Robinson, who averaged 5.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks last season with the New York Knicks, adds physicality and shot-blocking to the team. Despite injury concerns and a poor free-throw shooting record, he was one of the top unrestricted free agent centers available. The Celtics also agreed to a one-year deal with veteran guard Mike Conley Jr.
