The Reds have selected infielder/outfielder Ivan Johnson’s contract to replace outfielder Dane Myers, who was placed on the 10-day injured list due to a left shoulder contusion. Johnson, a former fourth-round pick, has shown improvement at Triple-A Louisville, boasting a .290/.388/.489 line this season. He adds depth to the outfield alongside Friedl, Bleday, Marté, and Steer, while also providing versatility in the infield. Right-hander Emilio Pagán has been activated from the IL, with Zach McCambley optioned.
