Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end Brock Bowers set a record for most catches in a game by a rookie tight end with 13 receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown in a 34-19 loss to the Miami Dolphins, surpassing Mark Bavaro’s previous record. Bowers now has 57 catches for 580 yards in the Raiders’ first 10 games, putting him on pace to challenge the record for most catches in a season by a rookie tight end, currently held by the Detroit Lions’ Sam LaPorta with 86. Bowers, the Raiders’ first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, also ranks as fantasy football’s top scoring tight end for the season.
