Kyle Pitts has signed a three-year, $54 million extension with the Atlanta Falcons, securing his position until at least 2028 and making him the NFL’s third-highest paid tight end. The former first-round pick made an immediate impact in 2021 but faced challenges with injuries and inconsistent quarterback play from 2022 to 2024. Despite this, he rebounded in 2025, recording 88 receptions and 928 yards, ranking fourth among tight ends since 2021. The Falcons, who have the second-longest playoff drought in the league, will start their season against the Steelers on September 13.
