The New York Islanders have appointed former Pittsburgh Penguins forward Pascal Dupuis as their Director of Player Development. Dupuis, a two-time Stanley Cup champion, spent the last six seasons with the Shawnigan Cataractes in various coaching and managerial roles. General Manager Mathieu Darche emphasized Dupuis’s valuable perspective for developing players. During his NHL career, Dupuis recorded 109 goals and 247 points in 452 games with the Penguins.
