Boston Red Sox pitcher Sonny Gray is open to discussing the waiving of his no-trade clause ahead of the Aug. 3 trade deadline, as the team may consider selling due to their poor performance. Currently in the last guaranteed year of his contract, Gray has an impressive record of 8-1 with a 3.12 ERA this season. Other players like Willson Contreras, Jarren Duran, and Aroldis Chapman may also be traded as the Red Sox trail significantly in the AL East. Gray had previously approved a trade to the Red Sox from the Cardinals last offseason.
