Chase Whitley
Chase Whitley, born June 14, 1989, in Ranburne, Alabama, played for the New York Yankees from 2014 to 2015 after being drafted in 2010. He made his MLB debut on May 15, 2014, against the Mets, earning a win with 4.2 scoreless innings. Injuries, including Tommy John surgery, curtailed his career, leading to his retirement in 2018. Now, he serves as the head coach at Ranburne High School, passing on his baseball knowledge to future generations.
