The Toronto Maple Leafs have narrowed their head coach search to about five candidates and are entering the second phase, which involves in-person interviews. TSN’s Darren Dreger mentioned Dallas Eakins as a potential candidate, noting his history with the organization as an assistant and head coach. Eakins has six years of NHL coaching experience, most recently with the Anaheim Ducks, and is currently coaching in Germany.
