The Detroit Tigers are facing challenges with designated hitter Jahmai Jones, who has significantly underperformed this season, registering a disappointing 35 wRC+ in 86 plate appearances. Despite his previous success in 2025, his lack of production is hampering the team’s flexibility and performance. Analysts suggest calling up Trei Cruz for his defensive versatility and potential to enhance the bench, while also considering other roster adjustments. The Tigers need to act swiftly to revitalize their lineup as they seek to improve amid a stack of injuries.
