Stephen Curry Signs Endorsement Deal with Li-Ning
Stephen Curry has signed a 10-year, $400 million endorsement deal with Chinese sports apparel company Li-Ning, concluding a lengthy recruitment process after leaving Under Armour. The agreement extends Curry Brand globally, including basketball products, athleisure wear, and a golf line, with plans for retail locations in the U.S. and China. Despite higher offers from competitors, Curry chose Li-Ning due to comfort with their products. However, concerns over Li-Ning’s alleged use of forced labor and its previous U.S. merchandise ban have raised ethical questions.
