Chicago White Sox slugger Munetaka Murakami is expected to miss several weeks due to a right hamstring strain sustained while running out a ground ball. Manager Will Venable confirmed that further evaluations and imaging will be conducted. Murakami, in his rookie season, has been a standout player with 20 home runs and a .240/.378/.560 slash line. Despite his absence, the White Sox won 4-3 against the Detroit Tigers with a walk-off home run by Miguel Vargas.
