According to ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss, the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Jacoby Brissett are “significantly” far apart on a reworked contract for 2026. Brissett, who has not attended the team’s voluntary OTAs and minicamp, is seeking a pay raise to reflect his status as the starting quarterback. The 33-year-old has a history of successful contracts with multiple teams, most recently signing a two-year deal with the Cardinals last March. In 2025, he started 12 games, throwing for 3,366 yards with 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
