Mike Maccagnan, former Jets general manager, has returned to the NFL, joining the Eagles as a personal executive. His hiring coincides with Adam Berry’s promotion to assistant general manager. Maccagnan’s NFL career began in 1994, and he served as GM for the Jets from 2015 until his firing in 2019 due to reported tensions with head coach Adam Gase. Joe Douglas, who replaced Maccagnan, was also promoted by the Eagles to senior vice president of player personnel.
