The Green Bay Packers are hosting veteran wide receiver Chase Claypool for a tryout during their rookie minicamp this weekend, as reported by Ari Meirov. Previously, the Packers expressed interest in trading for Claypool, a former second-round pick from the Steelers in 2020. After a brief stint with the Bears and Dolphins, where he recorded eight receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown in 2023, he was released by the Bills in August 2024. Claypool, 27, is looking to make an impact after finishing his rookie contract with a base salary of $1.5 million for the year.
