According to Ian Rapoport, the Philadelphia Eagles have signed first-round wide receiver Makai Lemon, making him the first player from the 2026 NFL Draft to secure a contract. The Eagles traded up to select Lemon with the 20th overall pick, and he is projected to sign a four-year deal worth approximately $20.8 million, including an $11.6 million signing bonus. Lemon, a former five-star recruit from USC, won the Fred Biletnikoff Award in 2025 and recorded 137 receptions for 2,008 yards and 14 touchdowns during his college career. NFL Media compares him to Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown.
