Teams have expressed interest in trading for Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins, but the Texans are unlikely to move him, according to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz. Collins, who signed a three-year, $75 million extension in May 2024, is guaranteed $20 million next season and has a cap hit exceeding $27 million for the next two years. The 27-year-old recorded 1,117 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season but has faced injury issues throughout his career. Houston also drafted wideouts Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel last year and is expecting Tank Dell’s return from injury.
