White Sox utility player Brooks Baldwin recently underwent an internal brace procedure to repair his right UCL and will miss the entire 2026 season, but is expected to return for spring training in 2027. Drafted in 2022, Baldwin improved his performance in 2025 with 11 home runs and strong versatility across multiple positions. He was shut down this spring due to elbow soreness while competing for a regular role. The White Sox are also dealing with injuries to outfielders Austin Hays and Everson Pereira, leaving them without healthy position players on their 40-man roster.
