STANFORD, CALIFORNIA – NOVEMBER 29
Doug Farrar’s recent mock draft for SB Nation suggests an improbable scenario where the Dallas Cowboys trade up to the top three picks to select Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, despite their pressing defensive needs. The proposed trade involves moving their 12th and 20th picks to the Arizona Cardinals for the third and 34th picks. While Love is highly regarded as a top prospect, the logic behind Dallas sacrificing multiple first-round picks is questioned, especially after acquiring Javonte Williams. Additionally, the Cowboys’ second-round pick is suggested to be Clemson’s Avieon Terrell, which some believe could be a more sensible option at their original 20th pick.
