Recently, the Vikings expressed openness to trading OLB Jonathan Greenard due to his desire for a contract adjustment, but are hesitant to grant a raise given their cap constraints. While they prefer to retain Greenard, they would consider trading him for a Day 2 draft pick. Multiple NFC teams, including the Eagles and Colts, have shown interest, but contract issues remain a significant barrier. Greenard, 28, had a notable season in 2025 with 38 tackles and three sacks, having previously signed a four-year, $76 million deal with Minnesota.
