Paul Maurice reached his 2,000th NHL game as head coach of the Florida Panthers, becoming only the second coach to achieve this milestone alongside Scotty Bowman. Maurice, who began his NHL career in 1995, has a record of 950-799-151 and won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2024 and 2025. He is on track to surpass Bowman’s 2,141 games by the 2027-28 season. Rick Bowness holds the overall coaching record with 2,751 games coached.
