Mila Holloway and Syla Swords each scored seven points in a strong opening quarter, leading second-seeded Michigan to an 83-48 victory over 15th-seeded Holy Cross in the NCAA Tournament. Holloway finished with 20 points, while Swords added 13 and Olivia Olson contributed 12 points and eight rebounds. Michigan dominated early, establishing a 27-6 lead after the first quarter, and will face N.C. State or Tennessee next. Holy Cross, despite a nine-game winning streak entering the tournament, struggled to keep pace with the Wolverines.
