Senga shines
Kodai Senga excelled in the Mets’ 6-2 exhibition win over the Astros, pitching four scoreless innings with three hits allowed, four strikeouts, and one walk, finishing the Grapefruit League with a 1.86 ERA. Francisco Alvarez left the game early due to back tightness but was removed as a precaution, with an evaluation scheduled for Friday. Francisco Lindor played seven innings at shortstop in his third game back from hamate bone surgery. The Mets will face the Cardinals at Clover Park on Friday.
