Detroit Pistons star Cade Cunningham has been diagnosed with a collapsed lung, officially termed a left lung pneumothorax, and will be out for at least two weeks following an injury sustained during a game against the Washington Wizards. The team confirmed Cunningham, who is averaging 24.5 points and 9.9 assists this season, will miss eight games before re-evaluation. There is optimism he could return for the playoffs starting April 18. In his absence, the Pistons will depend on Jalen Duren, Tobias Harris, and Duncan Robinson to lead the offense.
