Team Venezuela Advances to WBC Final
Team Venezuela secured a spot in the World Baseball Classic final after a late comeback against Team Italy, who initially led 2-0 thanks to Aaron Nola’s pitching. In the seventh inning, Ronald Acuna Jr. drove in a run, followed by singles from Maikel Garcia and Luis Arraez, giving Venezuela a 4-2 lead.
