Corliss Waitman Signs with 49ers
Former Pittsburgh Steelers punter Corliss Waitman is joining the San Francisco 49ers after two seasons with the Steelers, where he averaged 45.95 yards per punt. Waitman stepped in for Cameron Johnston, who suffered a season-ending injury in 2024, and later won the punting job in 2025 during training camp. However, with Johnston’s recent signing, Waitman’s return to the Steelers seemed unlikely.
