SAN FRANCISCO – In a rare bright spot for the struggling Warriors, Kristaps Porziņģis scored a season-high 20 points in his first start since joining the team, despite a 127-117 loss to the Timberwolves. The 7-foot-2 Latvian showcased a more relaxed playing style, contributing significantly in the first half and finishing with four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Warriors coach Steve Kerr noted Porziņģis is finding his rhythm, particularly as the team deals with injuries to key players. Porziņģis expressed optimism about his progress and aims to continue improving as he gets back into shape.
