The Packers are releasing cornerback Nate Hobbs after signing Benjamin St. Juste, opting not to pay Hobbs his $6.25 million roster bonus. Hobbs, 26, had a four-year contract with Green Bay and recorded 27 tackles in 11 games last season. His release is processed as a post-June 1 move, saving $8.84 million against the cap with a $4 million dead cap charge. A former fifth-round pick, Hobbs played four seasons with Las Vegas, totaling 62 games and 21 passes defensed.
