The New England Patriots are set to sign former New York Jets offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. Vera-Tucker, 26, was a highly sought-after player in this year’s free agency, previously linked to the Giants but ultimately choosing the Patriots. Drafted 14th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, he was a two-year starter at USC and had an impressive 2024 season with 15 starts at right guard. The Jets had exercised his fifth-year option earlier this year, making this a notable move in the league.
