Aaron Wilson from KPRC reports that the Texans are set to restructure cornerback Derek Stingley Jr.’s contract, potentially saving up to $15.285 million in cap space by converting part of his base salary into a signing bonus. The Texans also plan to extend defensive end Will Anderson Jr., potentially making him the highest-paid defensive player, while expressing mutual interest in a new deal with linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair. Stingley, 24, was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2022 draft and had a solid 2025 season, appearing in all 17 games and recording 36 tackles and four interceptions.
