ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that the Buccaneers are not tendering restricted free agent S Christian Izien, allowing him to become an unrestricted free agent. The team is still interested in re-signing him at a lower contract than the cheapest restricted free agent tag of $3.52 million. Izien, who signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent from Rutgers, played in 14 games in 2025, recording 25 tackles and one forced fumble. He was under a three-year contract worth $2.075 million that runs through 2025.
