LINDOR ON THE MEND
Francisco Lindor’s recovery from surgery on his left hamate bone is progressing well, with hopes of batting practice soon, aiming for a return by March 25, just before Opening Day. Meanwhile, Nolan McLean, after recent vertigo symptoms, is set to start for Team USA against Team Italy on March 10 in the World Baseball Classic, joining 17 Mets participating in the tournament. Pool play runs from March 5-11, culminating in the Championship game on March 17.
